Become a Goodwill Volunteer
Goodwill is always seeking volunteers for a variety of needs. If you would like to volunteer your time with one of the world’s largest non-profit organizations, call us today at 1-800-932-8270. Individuals, Groups, always welcome.
No matter what your interests, there is sure to be something to do at Goodwill. Some areas we always need volunteers include:
Data Entry – entering donor data information into Goodwill’s database
Employment Assistant – filing, copying, other general office duties, greeting and registering job seekers
Courtesy Callers – calling donors to thank them for providing someone with a good job because of their donations
Store Greeter – being the first impression of a Goodwill shopping experience
Merchandising Assistant – creating clothing and housewares displays, filling racks and shelves with donated items
Book & Music Organizer – filling and facing our ever-growing donations of books, magazines, records, CDs and games
Shoes & Accessories Organizer – filling and facing our shoes and accessories departments
Warehouse Assistant – assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations such as sorting, tagging, pricing and preparing goods to be shipped to our stores.
Cleaning – general cleaning or specialized cleaning at our stores and property
Information Provider – assist at public events to help spread the Goodwill mission.
Etc – if you have a special talent that you’d like to offer, feel free to let us know what they are. There is always a place for you at Goodwill.
